Reply:I have only run the gas shielded flux core on mine so far, and it has worked well. It even worked well on the Primeweld 160 (in 220 volt mode). Primeweld 180 with CO2 tank

T1 - Gas shielded flux core

The Primeweld 160 worked great with the gasless flux core, as well as solid wire mig, stick, and scratch start tig.

What are your settings, and wire dia. ? I can try mine when I get home. Call the guys at customer service, I think they are usually around in the evenings. Reply:Primeweld Mig180 with gasless flux core Hobart fabshield 21b .035" (old roll) on some really rusty old steel. Just powerbrushed it before welding. I didn't use the knurled rollers.
