Do you EVER Repurpose, To Get The Job Done??

I saw this idea, and thought it was great, and had to share,,

That clamp would sure be faster than turning a C-Clamp,,Do you have any ideas that repurpose tools that others could use??

Actually............two sets of front pads, and the first set of rear shoes last year...............IN 275,000 MILES.  Rear drums were still good, but the front discs needed replacing on the last go 'round.  It pays to drive like Gramps

  I mean REALLY pays.  $650/year for liability insurance on TWO trucks, with max non commercial coverage.  To be fair, it's a bundle with the farm insurance.  But it helps to not have had a moving violation since I was around 18 or so.  Overweights, and other stuff, don't count as moving violations....at least they didn't used to.
Reply:I repurpose constantly. When we were laying some cable recently I needed a caddy to spool the wire out, so my barrel dolly got repurposed temporarily with some SS hose clamps.
