I am switching from acetylene to propane. Besides a new proper propane tip what else do I need to replace to my old Victor torch system? Thanks in advance.

Reply:If you look at dedicated propane setups they are different from acetylene kits. Doesn't mean you can't use what you have with the correct tips I recon. The regulator is a 50 psi for Propane and a 15 psi for acetylene.The hoses are T rated for the propane gas so they don't break down over time from the incompatible gas.And of course the tips as mentioned. Look at regulator part numbers. The middle number is max pressure. Acetylene 15 psi Propane 50 psi.Hose types and sizes. 3/16 acetylene 1/4" propane. Reply:When I started cutting with propane I never even knew that there was a different tip and hose for itI'm still using the wrong hose
