Reply:I like it and I've thought about making one as well (probably wouldn't end up that pretty though...) but I have a stupid question that's been bothering me with this design. You have copper windings around a metal core with electricity flowing through the cord. Reply:They make bearings for this purpose. Everything is isolated. I dont there will be enough amps to cause much of a magnetic field like with welding leads on a reel.
