This is going to be a welding table once I can find some 1/4 or 1/2 inch steel or cast iron plate. For now it's particle board and a fire extinguisher. I put some cheap *** caster on it so I cam move it around, we'll see how long they last.

This used to be a yard cart but it's going to be the tray to hold my welder..which I'm thinking about welding to the table. The mesh is probably history, I don't know yet.

Reply:Good space. Put everything on wheels so you can move and configure as needed. Move those gas cans outside.Burt _____________________Miller Syncrowave 250Millermatic 211Miller 375 Plasma Cutter Hobart Handler 12010FtDrillBit.com
Reply:The best thing of cleaning a shop is the junk you take dump a month later having to buy it again. I did find 1/4" and above save. Even in retirement I have 1 ton steel for projects. The good news it like gold it just up in cost.Dave

Reply:Not nearly as messy as mine.I would move the tool chest away from the window and have a workbench there.  You could easily have a fan that draws welding fumes right out the window.  The chemicals are talking up valuable workbench space and are probably rarely used.  Find a tall skinny metal cabinet to store them in.  Rarely used items don't need quick access.  Except a fire extinguisher.  You need one.  Maybe mount it on the wall by the door?

Reply:My plan so far has been to keep building new shops to avoid cleaning up the old one. Pandemic pricing may force me to rethink that. It's easy to say just throw out the stuff you don't use any more, but start next week's project and you know what you'll be looking for...250 amp Miller DialArc AC/DC StickF-225 amp Forney AC Stick230 amp Sears AC StickLincoln 180C MIGVictor Medalist 350 O/ACut 50 PlasmaLes
