So, we have a machine that is about 8 months old, if that. It's failed, and they have not only not tried to help, but blocked me on Facebook.Very unprofessional!!!!!!!!!Proud to be a UNION worker. Better pay, better benefits, better work environment. UA Unions = working for the working class!!
Reply:Oh, boy here we go again with the lies Spencer. I blocked you yes. I blocked YOU from me having to see your "stuff". I don't want anypart of it. The request on FB was by another who asked for help in deciding on a PowerTIG 185 welder. You jumped in with negativity and said your company had one and it didn't last but for 8 months. I did try to help. I told you the issue you eventually described was typically a point gap problem. You said it didn't have points. But you know what? Again, more lies and misleading people. One, you aren't a direct customer. You work in a company that has one. You said they could throw it in the garbage for you cared. After you said it didn't have points, you said that 185, then proceeded to describe some product that was NOT a 185, which you said you had, then you said it had a "graph on the panel", which is and never has been a 185. Then to top it off, you said it was 110V, which no, you didn't exclude the possibility of dual voltage, but you said it was "110V" with no qualifiers. Which we never have made, again, misleading people. We have only made that unit in 220V or 120/240V since it came out. You repeatedly said you didn't care if the unit was fixed or not. You have always tried to make negative comments about the product, and honestly, when I pressed you about the product "you" had, 1) It wasn't your unit 2) It wasn't a 185, which was what the person asked about but you said you had "one". 3) It had a graph on the front...which the 185 never did. 4) Your unit did not have points...which it does, and several versions of the 185 manual show and depict the adjustment process and I referred you to the manual to take a look. (If it is a 185, that is) 5.) You said the unit was 110V, which you again mislead. You could have said it was a "dual voltage" model or a 110/220V unit. Yet when I pushed you about it, you hem hawed and said "I didn't say it wasn't a 120/240V unit"....Well you did by excluding those facts. You said it was 110V unit. Which all begs the questions, what do you have? Is it really an Everlast? Who owns the unit? Why didn't you follow through with tech support? Even if it took 3 days as you alledge for them to call the company back, why didn't you /your company follow through? The unit is/was under warranty, presumably if it was only 8 months. Really now. Can anyone blame me for smelling something fishy here, and trying to get to the bottom of the issue? Remember, I tried to help you at first by telling you to check the point gap possibility, then all the details come out that you don't own or have the unit personally, and then you don't follow through with support you were offered? You couldn't answer one question right. Don't think anyone would blame me, for trying to help someone "off the clock" from my personal account on FB and then come to find out that your only motivation for posting about a problem with a unit, seemingly, was to dissuade them because of your own personal bias? Yes, I blocked you. I really don't have anything else to say, unless your company wishes to pursuit completing the diagnostic process with tech support, and try to adjust the points, or send it for repair if it does have an issue, IF it is actually our product. If it is, and it is under warranty, we will honor that warranty.Even your post title is misleading people seemingly that you are the owner. No, you didn't say your were the owner, but I imagine that is a reasonable assumption that could be made that would mislead people once again. Instead of being insulted, I would be ashamed to misrepresent the facts then come here to complain that you were called out. And your post shows at the bottom: So, we have a machine that is about 8 months old, if that. It's failed, and they have not only not tried to help, but blocked me on Facebook. Another misleading statement. Failed? A likely points issue? A routine maintenance issue? Did anyone ever open it up and clean it as directed? No, "THEY" to it. I blocked everything from you so I did not have to see it on my personal feed. It was not done corporately. It was from my facebook account. Period.Last edited by lugweld; 07-24-2018 at 12:34 AM.Esab Migmaster 250Lincoln SA 200Lincoln Ranger 8Smith Oxy Fuel setupEverlast PowerPlasma 80Everlast Power iMIG 160Everlast Power iMIG 205 Everlast Power iMIG 140EEverlast PowerARC 300Everlast PowerARC 140STEverlast PowerTIG 255EXT
Reply:Where did the rest of the posts go. There were many yesterday. I almost forgot this is the sponsored form, silly of me. I have been around here a long time. See my joint date. I have seen it time and time again. Buyer complains, posts about it, others post and then gets deleted. Happens all the time. When are people going to learn. I am sure this will be removed too.www.tjsperformance.comDynasty 300 DXHTP 240HTP Microcut 380Hyperthem 85JD2 Hyd Bender and HF Hyd Ring Roller all in one =(Frankenbender)Bpt. Reply:There's another thread in another part of the forum. Just proves my point, the guys ego was hurt because he told a lie. If you go see it, you'll see he admits he get "enjoyment" out of this kind of thing. Nothing has been deleted from this thread. Does not happen all the time. Did you actually read what he posted?Last edited by lugweld; 07-25-2018 at 09:27 AM.Esab Migmaster 250Lincoln SA 200Lincoln Ranger 8Smith Oxy Fuel setupEverlast PowerPlasma 80Everlast Power iMIG 160Everlast Power iMIG 205 Everlast Power iMIG 140EEverlast PowerARC 300Everlast PowerARC 140STEverlast PowerTIG 255EXT |
