Hi,Got myself a 210 EXT a few months ago and could only try it out last week because of other stuff that needed more attention. After about 5" of welding in stick mode i got a error code on the panel, code 804.Really disappointed at that point but what can you do.... Do they even test the units at everlast before shipment? There is something in the manual that states to reset the main power switch. Is there any reset or does that just mean turn of and on again? If so already did that doesn't help.Happy for any help. Thanks,David

Reply:Yes they are tested, but a certain, small percentage do have issues. Same with any company with "infant death". But 804 is overtemp from what I have. It's 35% duty cycle at 160 amps. Do you know what size rod and amps you were using?Esab Migmaster 250Lincoln SA 200Lincoln Ranger 8Smith Oxy Fuel setupEverlast PowerPlasma 80Everlast Power iMIG 160Everlast Power iMIG 205 Everlast Power iMIG 140EEverlast PowerARC 300Everlast PowerARC 140STEverlast PowerTIG 255EXT
Reply:I used a 3/32 rod E6013 on mild steel and about 80-85 amps as i recall.Didn't weld more than 30 sec at a time before readjusting the part. The thing is when I power the unit up now it just gets the error code 804 right on start up.
