I have a single phase 240 volt powermax 600 that I am getting an input voltage light. 245 volts are coming into the unit. Called Hypertherm tech service and talked to I believe Kevin. Had me check some voltages and said it could either be control board or power board. He sad that the DC voltage was not even close at 332 volts dc. I downloaded a service manual and it says dc voltage should be aprox. 300 to 330 volts DC. Does anyone know this unit and can help me out on it as I don't think the service tech knew about the unit I had. I bought this new in 2006 and It has at most an hour of cut time on it.Thanks, Mike
Reply:So I did all the checks in the service manual and the only one that seemed off was the input line ohms. The service manual calls for 2.5 Megaohms but I was reading 3.1 Megaohms. What does this indicate?
