Wellsaw horizontal bandsaw for sale

I have a used horizontal bandsaw manufactured by the WellSaw company in Michigan.  I acquired the saw used about 5 years ago.  The saw is a model 8M.  It's a 5x10" or 6x12" horizontal bandsaw. I added a frame with casters to the saw.  I also replaced the blade guide bearings, v-belt, and the electric motor.  It has a new switch and power cord.  The motor is a harbor freight 1HP 120/240V model.  It's currently setup for 240V operation.The saw cuts straight and I have a few (3, I think) spare blades for the saw as well.  NOTE:  this saw is not equipped with all of the guards and contactor switch that OSHA requires these days.  They could be added and I think Wellsaw sells a kit or can provide guidance for bringing this saw into compliance.  If you're in a small personal shop like me it doesn't matter at all.I'm changing up how I cut down material, and this saw is just bigger than I need for the material I work with these days.  I'd like $700 for this saw.  It's located near Dayton, OH.  The buyer should plan on picking up the saw.  It is far too heavy to be cost effective to ship.  I estimate that the saw weighs at least 500 lbs.  It can be diss-assembled into two pieces(the cutting head and the base) to ease loading.  I loaded and moved it by myself, so with some patience it can be done by 1 person.I'll post pictures in a day or so.  If I haven't posted a message saying the saw has been sold, then it's still available.  Send me a private message or post here if you're interested.Benson's Mobile Welding - Dayton, OH metro area - AWS Certified Welding Inspector
