I got a hyster 60xm I believe with an Isuzu diesel in it and Im having issues with it being gutless and really cold blooded its a military surplus with low hours anyone know the the small izzuzu diesels and were to start with getting more power? its smokes pretty bad on start up also, so I think injectors are leaking, but it starts decently in the cold. not sure were to start working on it. it has a hyster part number of 135762 on the valve cover any help would be greatDo not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
Reply:I have a Isuzu propane H50XL (prior generation). I rebuilt the trans minus the converter when I got it as it had sluffed the friction facings from a coolant leak in the radiator cooler. The trans is cold blooded. If it's below 50 deg, it takes a couple minutes before it wants to get rolling on rough ground. As soon as the fluid temp get up a little the torque converter starts biting hard and away she goes no problems. I doubt this answers your question. I'd start on yours with an at operating temp stall rpm check. That should give you an idea if it's an engine or trans issue.
