Vulcan Spool Gun

Hey Folks,With the new line up coming to Harbor Freight and people talking about the Vulcan series price rising I’m wondering if I should go ahead and buy the spool gun for the MigMax. Does it function well, have any of you guys used it yet? I’ve got a 20% off coupon I can use on it, only reason I’ve held off on buying it is because at the moment I don’t do a lot of work with AL, but that can always change in the future. The other thing being that 160A isn’t a whole lot of power when it comes to AL, but I could always use a HE mix if I had a thicker AL project.If it’s good, I think I’ll purchase it with my coupon before the price goes up on Vulcan welders and accessories any more.What do you guys think?-Mark SmithMiller Bobcat 250Vulcan ProTig200Vulcan MigMax215Everlast PowerArc 210STLHypertherm PowerMax45 Xp

Reply:That’s what I used my 20% off coupon for that came with my Omni Pro. I saw the prices of Vulcan stuff was starting to go up back in August and decided to jump on the spool gun. I’m going to be using it for a first time either today or tomorrow so I’ll report back how it works. Reply:vulcan is plug and play . nothing new to add but it is a good gun,works well and is cheap.
