Cad design and fabrication

I am the owner of Matrix Garage. I do mechanical design, fabrication and welding. I do MIG, TIG and a little Arc. I have welded just about everything from mild steel to titanium. I do artistic, light structural and specialize in automotive. Since there are going to be more people seeing this who do these things than people looking for these things I thought I'd focus more on my services that are probably less common and may be services that other welders and fabricators need. I love CAD design and have been getting rusty because I haven't been doing it enough. I have also decided that the overhead of me sitting in front of my computer is so much less than working out in my shop that I could offer this service for a very good price. I currently use Freecad so there is some limitation to what I can do. I am well versed in Solidworks so if it was worth it for someone to provide me with a license my capabilities expand greatly. Even with Freecad I can do a lot of 3D design and 2D design. 2D is invaluable for a great many things. I can design flanges like intake and exhaust manifold flanges, gaskets, pipe flanges and really anything else that gets cut by waterjet, plasma, CNC, laser etc. This is a piece I designed and had cut as uprights for a stand I made for a local store.

Here are the uprights on the finished stand. I feel like it took it from being a mediocre pice to something that really looks nice for some pipe and a bicycle wheel welded to an old car wheel.

Here are just a few other things I have designed lately. A number of intake side flanges for cars, an oil pan expansion kit which I just had waterjet and bent and should be showing up tomorrow, a brake caliper bracket i designed for a friend and a few other things. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...9541932&type=3I have have a company who does my plasma cutting. They do a great job in good time and I highly recommend them.  I can quote you for cut and shipped parts or I can send you the required files to take to the place of your choice. If you want anything designed hit me up and I'll let you know what I can do. For things like flanges, gaskets etc it's really best if I have them sitting in front of me so I can design and test fit before machining. I also love 3D projects and have a quite a lot of capability. I also know other designers with higher end commercial programs so if it's outside what I can do I can probably find someone who can. I also know a few mechanical engineers so if you need something engineered and then designed let me know and I'll see what I can do.
