Well looks like I found the right guys to chat too. I got a Hobart Mega arc 300-G with the Ford 2.3 runs great!! Used it all last week and no problems. I went to work today and she is burning hot, burning 6010 right threw my 1/8 pipe. I messed with all day turning dials up and down. With no improvement tried 7018 thinking the weather and moisture messed with the rods, nothing is working. You guys have any ideas for me?
Reply:that is probably the circuitry that controls welding current that is shorted through.usually a replaceable printed circuit module. |
