First off,Hi, this site looks very informative . Well anyways,I have just cut with my Miller 375 today, and its my first time using a plasma cutter.I cut from 1/4 to 16 gauge sheet metal, but through the whole thing I got a lot of heavy slag underneath the metal.I adjusted the settings also, and could not get any thing different. Is this right?
Reply:Does the slag break off easily? if so it's from going too fast. If it doesn't break off easily, it's from going too slow. Owner of Welding Wiki,The free wiki based resource for weldor's around the world.http://www.weldingwiki.comWe have cookies!

Reply:Could of been from going to slow, tomorow I will work on my speed.I tried more air pressure, all the way up.
Reply:how high is all the way up....mine calls for about 75 psi while cutting if you have a airflow switch ajust it with this on then you'll get the right psi....
