gas for the mig.. $?

how much would the gas cost for a mig...i have no clue what size the tank and what kind of gas..( for a friend )the tank looks about 4 feet tall.if it was CO2 how much would that cost to fill up?and what are the other gasses, and the cost to fill up a tank..someone said 200, but i dont know
Reply:I pay $27 to fill a 40c/f cylinder with 100% argon at a local welding supply house.   It's about $2 less for a CO2/Argon Mix.There are no small projects
Reply:Get the biggest tank you can justify (thinking of space, money, etc.).  For $25 I can fill an 80cf argon tank, for $37 I can fill a 287 cf argon tank.  75/25 is a few bucks cheaper and straight co2 is even a dollar or two cheaper than that.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
