Anyone buy or currently using the craftsman metal saw (double counter-rotating carbide tipped circular saw.) I'm looking for something to cut metal for my projects. Portable band saw was option until I checked out the prices! Thanks, John.

Reply:I haven't seen good words about them. They seem to be short lived, make a heck of a racket while working, and take out an enormous kerf.

Reply:I also got a milwaukee deep cut saw new delivered via e bay for about $200. It's one of my top 10 tools.
Reply:I got one of the milwaukees from home depot on a clearance table for 125.00. It was marked 275.00 but i did a lot of haggling. I was grinning from ear to ear all the way to the truck . It was a display and missing the case but who cares! These saws work very well! |
