I recently decided to learn how to weld. I bought a lincoln pro series procore 100. I was wondering what you are talking about reversing the polarity with the ground.
Reply:reverse polarity in dc means the electrode is positive...work clamp is negativestraight polarity is electrode negative work clamp posYou will need to use one or the other depending upon your process of choice, ie mig tig stick, also based on factors such as shielding gas or flux in the case of stick welding. give me specifics of what you are wanting to do, gas, wire type, and I cant tell you what polarity you will needIF it Catches...Let it Burn
