All:I just scored a surplus blaster cabinet Trinco Model 42X24SL-450RC for 75.00I need to get new gloves, glass, and hoses for it. I also would like to lay my hands on an owners manual. I emailed TRINCO but have not been able to get a reply not has the promise of a return phone call panned out.So...Do any of you by chance have one and could loan me the owners manual to scan in. I would return it and a electronic version as well. Also if you know somewhere other than TRINCO to get replacement parts I would appreciate that as well.Steven
Reply:Grainger??
Reply:grainger, msc, enco, any decent semi local industrial supply will all cary what ya need...one warning take measurements before ya shop, dont just rely on name brand recognitiondont forget the clear plastic lense covers either....few uses without em will permentaly frost ur window!!!!You can use standard glass, most automotive and all hobby stores(just take measurements)hosers from any hardware, home improvement, automotive and for a last ditch attempt if ya cant find lense covers the thickest clearest plastic you can find....gloves are kinda application specific but extra long rubberized gloves for chemical use will work(failing that heavy welding gloves will work although the static shocks may get old).
Reply:You might want to try TIP tools (they're in Ohio). They specialize in sandblasting.
Reply:thans for the pointers folks. I will be looking them up and seeing if I can recondition this thing. When I get done I will post some before and afeters..Later, StevenPS.Still nothing from TRINCO on either email or a return phone call.
Reply:It's hard to beat www.eastwoodco.com for sand and bead blast stuff... |
