Jobs in Amarillo?

I'm kicking around the idea of moving to Amarillo...  Need a change of scenary and I'm wondering if anybody here is living and working there.  I'm curious as to what entry type welding jobs might be available.  If I'm not welding I could also fix the company computers...
Reply:change of scenary? You call that a change of scenary? That like a change of planets? heheheTheres got to be a woman involved in this "change".I've been Amarillo a bunch of times. When I was in the IT business. I bet there are more Welding than IT jobs there depending on what you do. I hope you like cold because it's cold there for no reason.
Reply:Actually I'm looking at Amarillo because of an IT job....  But if I get there and decide after a while I'm not interested in staying in that field any longer I figured I should scope out welding jobs.  Never hurts to plan ahead....Yep there is a woman involved....I call her my wife....  She's never lived in Texas and has no idea what it's like.  My folks were from El Paso and I have cousins and stuff all over Texas....We know about cold....live in the northern part of Colorado
Reply:I'm in El Paso, only 4-41/2 hours form Amarillo. Not as cold here and there are some IT and welding jobs here, but the pay may not be as good though.
