We bought 20 acres and wanted to move there, but we had no water well. I did some checking and a water well was 8000.00 for a 250ft well. WOW. I did not know what to do, because i know i didnt have that much cash. A freind told me about these drilling rig plans for 20 bucks. The plans were for a small but capable rig like the deeprock style. It only took me and my sons about 5 hours to build. I hope this helps some homesteader or just someone who's tired of paying 150.00 water bills. the little rig drills good. It took us 9 hours to drill a 4 inch well 165ft deep, and set casing. If anyone wants to checkout the plans, just go to www.drillingfab.com then click on rig plans..I hope this helps someone as much as it helped me. oh, by the way. my rig is for sale, now that im finished.........
