Wrought Iron Question

Do any of you guys work with Wrought Iron?My wife has been after me for years to make all the little Wrought Iron things that women like. I have just kind of brushed it off until my Brother In Law gave me an idea last weekend.I live in one of the areas hit hard by a hurricane last year. There is so much construction going on right now in the way of apartments, condos, and new homes. They all need rails, fences, gates, burgular bars, etc. My son and I have been doing carpentry work. I have always been more partial to iron work than fooling with wood. I have always been able to weld daylight to dark and enjoy it.I have the basic equipment to start tomorrow. I was mainly wondering if anyone could give me some dos and don'ts of Wrought Iron work. Where to get all the little cast things for the top of spindles and post? what is the best equipment to do the job right and turn out production? Are there computer programs to help with designs? And I guess the main question of all is Wrought Iron work profitable? From what I have seen it appears to be very profitable. If you could give me any tips or info it would be greatly appreciated.
