Hello, I have a Miller Bluestar 2E generator welder that came with an old HF box. The owners manual for the hf box says to not use it with an engine driven welder. I have not used this set up yet, only the stick process many times. The person I bought this from claimed he had welded stainless many times with it and aluminum which he showed me and it looked like ****. How can you weld aluminum without a amp control device anyhow? Can I install a miller HF 251 d1 start box to my bluestar, add a foot pedal and weld aluminum? I have used HF start boxes before but only on trailblazers etc. I currently use a dynasty dx and a precision tig for most all my tig work in shop. Also would I be able to hook up a spool gun to my old Bluestar through the HF box or not? Thanks - Moe.shadyschade |
