Have Considererd Puchasing A New Dynasty 200 From Miller, Basically For Its Advanced Capabilities On Aluminum. Read Alot Of Discussion About This Machine. I Dont Mind Spending The Money For The Results, Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut, I Am A Little Leary About It After Reading All Of The Problems Associated With The Hf Board. I Do Not Mean To Rehash Anything, Just Wanted To Know If This Problem Has Been Resolved.

Reply:I'll be buying one as soon as I can possibly justify it!! Assuming I can't justify the Dynasty 300, of course!
Reply:Just to throw it out there.......... Have you considered a Thermal arc 185?I just got a TA 300tsw, and it is awesome! Every bit a dynasty, and more.Research the TA 185, and you will find that it will compete with the 200, slightly better it in some aspects, and will save you a few bucks! And the purple is perty! We need to protect Freedom of Speech, otherwise, how would we know who the A-holes (like me) are.

Reply:I had a DX 200. Was having problems with it sent it out got a new board. Got it back and still had some starting issues. I increased the pre purge and it seemed to start an arc better. I still was not happy with it. I sold it and then got a Miller Dyn 300DX machine. Now the 300DX IMHO performs totally different than the 200DX did. It starts arc perfect 100% of the time.Just my 02 cents worth. T.J. |
