they are laying some pipe near the house and a friend seen the pipeliner guys out there. so he calls and wants to know what's the smallest welder he can get on a job with. i got a trailblazer 302 i told him that should be plenty, but i know when i was pipefitting on greenfields we used big 40's and 50's. any advice fer him."Retreat hell, were just fighting in the other direction"Miller Trailblazer 302, Extreme 12 VS, Dimension 400, Spectrum 375, HF 251D-1, Milermatic 251 w/ spoolgun Hypertherm 1000Lincoln sp 1702000 F-450 to haul it
Reply:Unless they're welding on some really thick material, the Trailblazer will do the job.
Reply:A 250G Trailblazer will do most although i wish i had a 302TB I just got a new job and we use the 250's sch.80 10"pipe and sch.40 5p root and 18 fill. They seem to do the job just fine even with 100Ft + of lead out. |
