I have to quote a weldment and have never seen this on a print before. It says:  "minimum 50% full strength"  I know it is a dumb question but I have NEVER senn this on a drawing. Thanks
Reply:I guess the customer can put whatever requirements they want on a drawing.  This one does seem ambiguous.  I would assume that 50% penetration equals 50% of full strength.  Best to get a clear agreement with the customer.
Reply:I called them and they said don't worry about it. All the prints say that even if they are not weldments........................
Reply:wtf?i guess that means "do one side of each piece only"oook..zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Good one!If you don't have the time to do it right, then you definitely don't have the time to do it over.
Reply:ill bet thay dont know jack about welding so thay dont know the lingo i would ask them what thay are talking aboutChuckASME Pressure Vessel welder
