Hi guys I'm trying to weld 5 mm 5356 Aly plate it's a small hole in the bottom of a boat 1 3/4" X 3" near flat section,The rod argon flow and current are correct. and good looking weld But as the weld cools i get a rootline crack.I have worked from the ideal settings to either extreme, to no avail can any one help please ?
