GTAW/TIG Wire Selection

Have spent a little time online looking for various wires for TIG welding, and am curious as to how few are out there.  Everywhere I look there's one wire for mild steel, one for stainless, and one for aluminum.  Nothing like SMAW where there's a dozen rods for a dozen uses.Am I missing something ?  Are there "high strength" wires, or wire thats "smoother" than others?Seems like a silly question, but Im sure there's an answer out there!ThermalArc 185MillerMatic 180 w/ AutosetVictor Cutskill Oxy/AcetyleneThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 38and spite!
Reply:If you start looking for filler for mold, and tool & Die welding, you'll find quite a few different types! Go to: www.weldmold.com and take a look around, it's pretty interesting! They also have filler for other applications.--------------john
