Hi all, first time here and so far very interesting. My problem is that I damaged my rear gate on my tandem axel landscape trailer around the hinges. When I bought the trailer last year I ordered the taller gate and it didn't quite make it into the garage one day. I would like to take about 8 inches in height off the gate and have the gate put on new hinges. I figured that since the steel was bent just at the point that the hinges mount onto this would take care of two problems at once. The frame of the trailer where the gate mounts to has no damage at all, and the rest of the trailer gate is in great shape. I believe that the gate is 6.5x5ft and I was wondering a ballpark figure to have it repaired? Also if there is anyone on here in or near Toledo Ohio, that may be interested in doing the work for me? I would be willing to do the paint on the gate, so I'm just looking to have the welding done if that helps on price. Thanks for any help you can give and I hope to learn how to do this stuff in the near future. Brian
