Red or Blue need advice please!!

Hi going to buy a new machine 1. A vantage 500 with a cummings diesal. 2. A big 40 with a cat diesal. ? is which one welds better ? is which one is more durable? is which one is used more for arc gouging and welding and running other equiment such as a plasma machine while welding . Just looking for some opinons please from michigan...
Reply:You should ask this over at www.millermotorsports.com/mboard. There are a lot of guys there that have those machines.Cummins diesel, not Cummings, though...Have you already downloaded and read the manufacturer's specifications sheets available on their websites?
Reply:You have to get the deluxe package to get much AC power with the miller while the lincoln has it standard. I like yellow motors but there's nothing wrong with a cummins. It might come down to which dealer wants to deal.
Reply:With the two models you are comparing, that Lincoln is more powerful, higher output, longer duty cycle, more 3-phase aux. power.  Why is your choice narrowed to these two?
