Football has a two minute warning..We have a two week warning here..Offical sign up sheet for the welding class..You know the rules..I appreciate that a few members will be bringing their machines with them..One slight problem..Unless you bring your own power supply (I know Dave R is)There is probably nowhere here to supply your machine with electricity..Sorry not my building..Dave R has also offered to put on a stick clinic..Good deal..I've seen his work and he's more than qualified to show some tricks..I have not heard from lorenzo in awhile so I'll find out what he's up to..If we get alot of people...and it looks like that now..We may divide the class in half so everyone can take a turn at everything we will have to offer..Dave can take 1/2 and do the stick thing while I'll do the tig thing and then switch students at lunchtime or so..Everyone can come but I need a definate head count by Thursday the 16'th..I need to make sure we have enough lunch for the masses..Cookout will be here at the shop..So sign up now..It'll be a blast..It always is.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:I'm not buying the donuts! On another note, I talked with Chris last night and he is still considering going. A generous offer for a ride was given to myself but being that David R is staying a few days, I won't be able to ride over with them due to prior responsibilities at home. I might be able to follow ...or lead in the Vette. ...can't have a Ford in front of me! John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:man...I really wish I was closer. I just cant spring for airfare + hotel right now, even though I think it would be worth it.EDIT: I KNOW it would be worth it "Ask not for whom the bone bones, it bones for thee" - Bender
Reply:I'm in and look forward to it.I can't bring a machine, much less a power supply with me, but if there's anything else that might be helpful I'd be happy to do my best to come up with it.See you all there.Favorite right now is a Miller Syncro 200.Tons of tools and I blame at least one of them when things don't go right.
