I have done a bit of certified welding on structures, but I have never heard of a DBA. Could someone enlighten me? I think it has something to do with anchored rebar.-MikeCommon sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom.

Reply:I'm with TEK, I've always known a DBA as "Doing Business as" but I guess there could be other uses....I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......

Reply:The engineer approved the A615 as a suitable replacement for A706 but nothing was mentioned about preheating. Since A615 is 60ksi, wouldn't that make the A706 more proned to embrittlement? And even at that, 70ksi no worse than the 7018 rod that I am going to use.Common sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom.
