Where? I got stuck buying .030 solid wire for my Lincoln Pak 100 Mig. I'm talking about the 8" spools. Now I have two .030 spools that I don't like welding with. I like the .025 wire because I can actually "melt" the wire and make decent welds.Anyone want my .030 spools?Last edited by mpower; 08-24-2007 at 07:42 PM.

Reply:mpower, you may need to get different drive rolls. Maybe a smaller liner since the small wire can bundle up in a large liner. It'll probably work if you tighten down the drive rolls for .025, just keep the whip straight and the gun at a straight angle. You will need .023 contact tips though.

Reply:.025 is a lincoln thing. usaweld.com doesn't carry it either. damn. got to get .023 then. I don't think they'll fit both my 8" spools in there for shipping would they? If they do, someone can have it for cheaper!
