This don't look good.. Hobart Polarity Switch..(lever removed)...Inside..Contact..What do you think made the meltdown of the porcelan??I have a new switch on order..I'm going to put this back tomorrow just to make sure I can do it..All the wires are marked..Pics have been taken..We'll see soon enough I guess.. ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:I let one of my employees use my weldmanpower G7. He called me while I was out on a service call. Said it would do nothing. I said wait till I come back. He messed with it. The amp selector switch was smoked. $160 later, I had it up and running again. Never happened to me because I always made sure it was in the detent.Glad its working.DavidReal world weldin.
