Santa has promised me a new welder for Christmas. I need a machine that will consistently run 125 to 150 Amps DC with a decent duty cycle. Been looking at Lincoln Idealarc and Miller Dialarc. Wondering if one stands out over the other, or if I should just buy the "best deal"? Would appreciate hearing experiences, comments, and recommendations...........tx....no_arc
Reply:Both are good machines, which one can you get good service on. Buy it. JohnSMAW,GMAW,FCAW,GTAW,SAW,PAC/PAW/OFCand Shielding Gases. There all here. :
Reply:I own an Idealarc 250 ac/dc tig and love it been using it everyday for the last 16 yrs. been a good one but it depends on if you like red or blue. guess it all depends on if you can get local service ---on the machine and what you want to weld ( boat props--alum--ss --all i do ) |
