I have a dynasty welder and was thinking of starting to use orange tungsten for ss,al,cs. has anyone else used orange? how would you compare it to reds?
Reply:Ceriated tungstens work great for lower amperages, and for AC.  They hold up better than thoriated tungstens on AC, and are actually recommended for inverters like your Dynasty unit.  We used to have a lot of trouble running pure tungstens with the inverters when they first came out, and then Miller recommended the ceriated, and they work beautifully.
