What is the best wire size to feed through the 125, 130 size migs? I have read where alot state a certain size for certain size welders typically does better and puddle wetting and performance. Thank you whitey

Reply:Actually, for light fabrication, a .030 wire is more suitable. I'll tell you why.A .023 wire is realistically only suitable for material in the 22 ga. - 18ga. A .030 wire is suitable for material in the 22ga. (.031) - 1/8 (.125) range. A .035 wire is suitable for material in the 18ga. (.050) - 1/4 (.250) range. Most LWS's will be able to tell you this or you can consult your local Airgas which will supply you with a chart.
