I do mostly flux cord welding and there is quite a bit of splatter that sticks to the work and tips. I know that companies sell anti spatter sprays, but I heard or read that cooking spray on your tips will work also. Is this true, anyone else heard of this?______________Clarke 95 Lincoln 135 Lincoln AC 225 ---------I'm an idiot, please talk slowing and simple.

Reply:Thanks Zap, i will give that a try.David, I believe that is what I'm using. Lincoln brand, I'll check for sure tomorrow. When I first put in the 211 innershield, I had the gun on + and the work clamp on -. It was an ungodly amount of splatter. When i swithched them it got much better, but I still have a fair amount of clean up. I dont have a really good set up in my small garage. I have to use an extension cord, tho it is a pretty heavy duty cord, that could be part of my problem.______________Clarke 95 Lincoln 135 Lincoln AC 225 ---------I'm an idiot, please talk slowing and simple.
