Repairing bandsaw blades

I was wondering if anyone has or knows if you can mig or tig a bladesaw blade back together. I broke two blades on the weekend which were new. It was my error that caused them to brake. They broke clean and meet together prefectly with no bends or twists. I was thinking I could mig or tig them back together. Reply:I tig mine all the time..Make sure the ends are square..Overlap them by 1/16"..Clamp to aluminum..Fuse away..No filler needed..Grind smooth when cold..Anneal and ready for use again..Simple enough?...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:Look for stress cracks in the flutes. Sort of get a handle on the size and number. Some blades you might want to fix, some maybe not.
Reply:Just like Zap said. Let the repaired blade run on the saw for a few minutes and walk away. If it's gonna break, better off without you standing there.
