Has anyone bought from IOC on ebay? They have Miller elite black for $214.57 and free shipping. http://cgi.ebay.com/MILLER-ELITE-AUT...QQcmdZViewItem Cheapest I have found.In College for welding.Learning 6010 first.passed butt weld, lap, lap multipass, t-weld I have a Campbell Hausfeld Farmhand 125 (only used fluxcore sofar).
Reply:They have an excellent reputation.  The one story we've heard against them was when their shipping company (of their choice) broke two MM210s en route to a customer, and rather than try again or some other method, they refused to ship another one and just refunded his money.  Of course, he had bought it right before the price increase that year, so they kinda screwed him.Other than that, they are considered a legitimate dealer and many members have bought from them.  I had a Maxstar 150 STH that I got from George "Sundown", and he had gotten it from them.

Reply:I ordered a set of 3 tips from them, and one of them was backordered.  They chose to inform me of this by putting "Qty: 0" on the packing slip of the other two tips which they shipped (ie, I didn't find out until the other tips had already arrived...).  If I had known they didn't have it in stock, I would have just bought locally...
Reply:I have not bought anything from them on Ebay, but I have from one of their local stores.(They have a location 10 minutes from my work) They have always bent over backwards to help me out, even for just advice with no purchase. ( I didn't even buy the machine from them, and they we very helpful in getting me up and running.... ) I'll probably never buy anything, anywhere else.Having said that, it took me a few days to get a leather cover for my TIG hoses. They had one on the other side of Indy, but couldn't seem to manage getting it across town from the main warehouse to my local store.  Is that bad? yeah... But they did give me 3 pairs of gloves for making the trip to the store for nothing.  In my "book" making an effort is worth everything...The best things in life all come on a stick!

Reply:I bought a Miller XLiX helmet from them a while ago. Even with shipping and duty I still had a better price than anyone locally. I think I had it on my doorstep in 4 days - which is super fast considering customs usually has to open it, drop it, kick it, half azz repackage it and clear it    Their service is first rate, I would have purchased my new PT-225 from there, but shipping was obviously too much.Fire!, Fire!
