Hopefully this is in the right section. I was welding some 2x2 1/8th inch metal tubing together with a arc welder, had it all squared pefect. I welded one side of the of pipe at a time. By the time i had them done, the tubing had warped some. How do you guys usually keep this from happening. I know its general practice to weld little sections at a time and move to the coolest area, But i was only welding one joint side at a time.
Reply:You mention nothing about how it was tacked together..If done right warping/bending can be kept to a minimum..It's always easier to diagnose the problem with pics....You did'nt just "weld away" now did you??...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
