Picked up a new machines today.........

Well started on the job this morning and got about an hour into it when a rod decided to come thru the side of the block on the old bobcat.  Just figures, considering I just sold my back up machine 2 days ago!   Ofcourse we are working on a contract job with a deadline, and if we don't finish on time they fine us.......Well, Off to my LWS, and wound up with another Ranger GXT.  I was planning on getting a trailblazer in a month or so, and then buy another smaller machine end of the year, but considering I paid cash for it, and just didn't have the extra money right now.  Since I already had one GXT, and it has been a pretty good machine, I went ahead and bought another one.  I'll just have to plan on finding a trailblazer at the end of the year.  She don't look bad with the Stainless covers.  One of those win/lose days I guess.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......

Reply:Yea, she is pretty quiet.  Much quieter than my older bobcats were, and she don't weld bad either.  I played with some 3/16" 7018's on some base plates this afternoon, and It handled them quite well.Ag, I't's already taken.  One of my guys that does work for me from time to time wanted it as he has a motor from another machine, and wanted to use it for a spare.  He's a good guy, and had some rough times lately so I let him have it.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......

Reply:Nice machine. My GX271 has a stainless case. I really like it as my two year old Eagle has turned pink and is starting to develop a little rust (wonder how much one would run for it, heheh). If it makes ya happy what more can you ask from it.The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship. I am an artist.
