I am trying to get high pressure tested in tx and have no idea where to go. i have been welding for about 8 years and have been practicing. I work at TAMU and we are putting in a 4000psi air system and they want me and a couple others here to be certified before we do it. so hopefully some one on here will know where to get it done or lead me in the right direction.
Reply:Well depending on where you live wouldn't it be the government body that controls the regulations. I'm pretty sure that you will need a pressure vessel welding certificate. Like here in Ontario for example it’s the TSSA (Technical Standards & Safety Authority) that will certify you for pressure vessel welding. In the USA it may be ASME.*Also according to the title of your post I would go to the closest clinic, or doctor’s office. Last edited by Its_me2; 08-22-2008 at 11:18 PM.

Reply:Get a Houston phone book and call the weld testing labs down there. They should be able to answer all of your questions. Also make sure TAMU pays for it because it probably won't be cheap.
