I have the older model, not the pro. I need to buy a gun to do dual shield w/. Can I get some opinions on different guns and why ? I have only the k126 innershild gun.
Reply:Weldingdepot.com sells nice knock off Tweeco guns and other brands. Lincoln magnum guns are great.Be sure to get on to fit an LN-25. David Real world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:The Tweco Spray Master is a very nice gun for heavy dualshield use.They are real light, run cool under hard, high amperage use and the little manual trigger lock is slick.JTMcC
Reply:Sounds like tweco it is. I'll have to go to that site and check on the Spraymaster. The one I've used had a threaded two piece cup that went onto a diffuser w/ like allthread on outside for adjustment, I liked it, whatever it was.
Reply:That sounds like the frontend on my Spoolmatic/XR gun before I converted it to Centerfire. On that one the barrel was threaded and the nozzle length was adjustable so the tip could be recessed, flush or sticking out by varying amounts by twisting the nozzle. Reply:I have a magnum 300 on my circa '88 Ln-25. Got it at weldingsupply.com for less than the Tweco. Have a Tweco on a Hefty feeder as well (the Magnum is heavier built). The Tweco's are very good guns, and parts interchange between the Lincoln and Tweco and are easy to get.
