7018 vertical up help

I was a nice 52* day today. I decided to run a few 7018 on my 80 amp inverter. I have never ran 7018 v up before. I only had time for a few rods so i didnt do alot. The one that looks decent is the one outlined in soapstone. What a good techniquie(sp) for v up on 7018. I was using a whipping motion because that i read you should do with 7018 on v up. It was 3/32 7018 on 3/16 plate at 80 amps. The 1 to the far left was 6013.Last edited by welderShane; 12-13-2010 at 10:47 PM.Ya gotta spend money to make money!
