Reply:Not a problem. You may want to remove the oxide layer from the rod before using it with O/A.
Reply:What the %$^ do you think "Tig" rod is? It's nothing more than the original O/A filler materials that have been made for the last 80 years ( more or less depending on the alloy ). There are NO special OA welding filler rods, anything sold as such is some form of brazing, soldering, or who knows what. |
