Stitch or Mig

New guy with a question.  Does anyone have any experience with a stitch welder?  I don't weld much, and am considering either a small mig unit,   or a stitch attachment to my current, small plug in hobby stick machine.  I don't weld much, and would be using it almost  exclusively for body, and muffler system work.  I only have experience with a little stick welding, and would like to spend as little as possible, but don't want to end up with something that doesn't fulfill my need.TKSDAN

Reply:If your talking about the add on stitch machine that eastwood sells,you should get yourself a cheap mig.trying to weld exhaust with a stick will soon have you twisting like a circus monkey.save yourself some aggravation.                   Felon
