One more price comparison request.

This is for making a kettle corn popper.I was asked to price out the build. I will only build it, not buy ANY materials.As you can see it is nothing more than a small angle frame and some thin plate. The plate is about 1/16th thick and the angle is only about 1X1X1/8".I will need to cut the material and build the box completely. I can do this in MY shop.So similar to the previous request, can you guys give me an idea of what you would charge and how long you think it would take you.The burner is similar to those I make for heating my forge so I can build it for about $30 in materials.Thanks again,Bob Attached Images

Reply:David,I have a plasma, I traded a free tractor (you and other helped me get it running) for a truck and traded the truck for the plasma.  My only investment was some time and a few minor parts for the tractor. I found out the tractor had major issues in the gearbox that I could not afford to fix.Just got it recently, it is a Thermodynamics drag gun.http://store.weldersource.com/138351.htmlThe guy said he paid a little over $5000 for the corn popper one in the photos attached above. There is nothing to it really except for the kettle and he already has one for it. He plans to use the one I build and then wants to build more to sell and split the profits with me. I like the idea of splitting profits as that could be pretty good cash for not much work but I am not sure that future builds are a reality as the guys is a BS'er and just brags a bunch. Same guy that made the trailer in the other post that was less than great quality.
