I've been welding for about year and a half now and have turned into the biggest metal pack rat, anything weldable I keep it. Problem is I have it all piled up in a big cardboard box that is about to explode. And like everybody else garage space is at a premium, so how do you guys store your metal I am looking for ideas. Thanks

Reply:That's the one I liked too. I will probably use angle off an old bed frame instead, I got it laying around.
Reply:Here is a link to my post showing my storage rack: http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=23845It really holds a lot of steel, is easy to sort, pick and pull. I used heavy duty carpet cores, but you can find something similar or use PVC pipe.Having various lengths of tube is actually pretty handy, put short pieces in the shorter tubes so you can still find it.Burt _____________________Miller Syncrowave 250Millermatic 211Miller 375 Plasma Cutter Hobart Handler 12010FtDrillBit.com
