where can i find an ADF replacement?

2day i bought a lincoln n5389 helmet from home depot. why? well 2 make a long story short i got a job 2day (im fresh out of trade school) and b4 i left there i was told  i need a helmet with a bigger lens,my helmet is a miller hobby pro with a 2 x 2 inch lens.so i went down to airgas and found 1 with a 4x4 (i believe) lens view, but it goes 4 218$; i dont got the cash 4 that just now.So i went 2 hme depot and bought my current 1 for 35$,NO adf.My question is this: where can i find an adf  4 my current helmet when i hve the $.Like i said its a lincoln n5389 and the #10 lens on it is 4.5 X 5.25. ive searched ebay and other welding supply sites but no luck.for my very 1st helmet (a jackson) i was able to find(found it at a yard sale) a randor adf that fit perfect. id like to do the same 4 this helmet.
Reply:ezekiel,I know you think we understand what you said, but most of us use whole words and are not text-literate. I know that's not cool - I have 3 kids. Are you asking if you can replace the fixed lens on your Home Depot helmet with an auto-darkening pak when you have the money? If so, I know my LWS sells auto-darkening replacement paks, but I'm not sure they will fit your helmet. They likely will, but the cost is close to just buying a complete helmet and then you will have a warranty. It's always good to have a spare helmet in your bag in case the batteries go, or you drop it. Sometimes the light conditions affect the auto-darkening to the point a fixed lens is better. So your new helmet is not a waste of money by any means.Anyway, good luck with the new job. They are hard to find so I hope you appreciate it and will work hard.And it helps us if you will go back and proof-read your post.
