I posted this thread on another part of this forum, but I need the help so I am trying here also. I am a newbie to the TIG process and have a question out of paranoia. I am a pretty good mig and O&A welder. I need to do some welding on my scooter frame and am afraid of both distortion and burn through. Can someone help me out with the settings. I have a Lincoln Precision Tig 225. I need to weld a few threaded slugs/bungs into some drilled holes and some 1/4 in plate on as fender mounts.Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
